           Drivers Alert receives U.S. Dept. of Transportation Test Approval 2/17/05
  • RECOGNITION STUDY :PROPOSED SITE: BEATTY,  NYE COUNTY NEVADA
The intention of the Recognition Study is to introduce the Drivers Alert Warning and Informational
Sign to a sector of the motorist population- within a given district of a residential community.   
  • IMPLEMENTATION:
25 Intersections will be chosen with the guidance of the Director of Public Works and 50 Drivers
Alert Signs posted by DA employees under the guidelines established by the MUTCD and the Local
Director of Public Works. The time line of the study shall be for 12 [twelve] months, with 3 [three]
month periods of optional extension at the discretion of the local Director of Public
Works. Options will be applied for at no less than 3 months before any project-scheduled
termination.
